ENTRY DOCUMENTATIONS

Ticketing
You should only purchase your return flight ticket when you are accepted into the Program. Overseas participants must possess confirmed return air tickets before travelling. Your ticket must cover September 3 - 16, 2013. Your Confirmation of Travel must reach us on the stipulated date.

Visa, transit visa, and vaccination

Overseas participants must ask their local immigration if transit visa or vaccination is required when exiting the nation. Check with the Malaysian Embassy in your country, or if there is none, a Malaysian Embassy in your neighbouring country as to whether an entry visa to Malaysia is required. Your entry visa must cover September 3 - 16, 2013 (which includes Orientation).

NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency)
Must be applied for participants from Nigeria. Give yourself 3-6 months for clearance before you leave Nigeria for this program. This applies especially for first time travellers. Do check with your NDLEA office or the Malaysian Embassy for further details.

LODGING AND ACCOMMODATION

Participants are to book their own accommodation, hence please choose wisely. If you were to choose a location which you need to take public transport, please factor in the travelling time and expenses for your choice. You can do your own research on the hotels at www.tripadvisor.com to substantiate your choice.

Nearest budget and simple hotel to the training venue. An afforadable accommodation with deluxe-grade amenities comfortable for the duration of your stay during the training sessions.
Walking Distance to training venue: 1.7 kilometers (20 minutes)
Driving Distance to training venue: 3.8 kilometers (7 minutes)

Nearest budget and simple hotel to the training venue. An affordable accommodation suitable for a simple stay during the course of the training program.

Driving Distance to training venue: 3.8 kilometers (7 minutes)

Budget Hotel: Tune Hotel

A budget yet comfortable stay located at downtown Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is a limited service hotel offer beds at very affordable prices by getting rid of costly full service extras (pools, spas, saunas, room service or the like) that you just don't need and shouldn't have to pay for.
Distance: 9 kilometers
Travelling time and mode:
- 20-30 minutes by taxi directly to the training venue.
- By RapidKL Train taking the Monorail Line from Medan Tuanku (5 minutes walk from Tune Hotel) to KL Sentral (cost RM2.50). From KL Sentral, switch line to Kelana Jaya Line taking the train to Wangsa Maju station (cost RM2.30). From Wangsa Maju station, you can walk 10 minutes to the training venue. Your total journey would take about 90 minutes.
Price range: Between RM20-RM30 by Taxi and below RM10 by Train.
We recommend using the taxi for cost efficiency and also getting to the venue on time safely.
